- La travailleuse en garderie sera chargée de fournir des services de garde d'enfants aux résidentes des foyers Nisa Homes. Sous la supervision de la directrice de la maison, l'éducatrice jouera un rôle essentiel dans l'accompagnement des résidentes dans leur cheminement pour retrouver leur autonomie et accomplir les démarches nécessaires pour déménager._
- **PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS**:_
- **Superviser et surveiller la sécurité des enfants**_
- **Élaborer un programme et un programme de garde d'enfants hebdomadaire à mettre en œuvre, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, des activités artistiques et artisanales, des activités sportives et un club de devoirs**_
- **Fournir une assistance et un soutien aux mères célibataires séjournant dans les foyers Nisahomes pour faire face aux problèmes comportementaux ou émotionnels auxquels leurs enfants sont confrontés par le biais de conseils, de programmes, d'activités et de références**_
- **Accéder aux ressources et aux soutiens pour les mères célibataires et leurs enfants afin de fournir des références si nécessaires**_
- **Améliorez et organisez régulièrement une aire de jeux pour enfants pour assurer l'hygiène et l'ordre**_**QUALIFICATIONS**:_
- Doit parler et écrire couramment l'anglais et le français._
- Diplôme pertinent tel que travailleuse en service de garde auprès des enfants et des jeunes, éducatrice de la petite enfance et avoir un minimum de 2 ans d'expérience._
- **Certification de secourisme valide**_
- **Vérification du casier judiciaire et vérification du secteur vulnérable avant l'emploi**_

**Hours of Operations** Monday - Friday, 10 am - 6 pm

The Child Care Worker will be responsible for providing child-minding services to the residents at Nisa Homes. Under the supervision of the City Operations Manager, the Child Care Worker will play an integral role in supporting the residents on their journey to regain independence and fulfill the steps required to move out.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supervise and monitor the safety of the children
- Develop a weekly childcare curriculum and program to be implemented including but not limited to arts and crafts activities, sports activities, and homework club
- Aid and support to single moms staying at Nisa Homes is working with behavioral or emotional challenges their children are facing through advice, developing programs, activities, and referrals
- Accessing resources and supports for single moms and their children to provide referrals when necessary
- Upgrade and regularly organize children's play area to ensure hygiene and orderliness

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must speak and write English proficiently
- Relevant degree such as Child and Youth Worker, Early Childhood Educator and will have a minimum of 2 years experience.
- Valid First Aid Certification
- Criminal record check and Vulnerable sector check prior to employment
