Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing childcare services to children in the comfort of their own homes. This is a temporary position, and the successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and at least one year of experience in childcare.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Travel with families on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
Requirements:
  • Secondary school graduation certificate
  • At least one year of experience in childcare
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Drug test
  • Medical exam
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a non-smoking and scent-free environment. The work site will be the employer's home, and the candidate will be required to work in an urban area.

The primary language of communication will be English or French.
