Job Title: Home Childcare Provider

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Adrienne Hindle. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare services to families in their own homes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing childcare services to children in the comfort of their own homes. This is a temporary position, and the ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong ability to communicate effectively with parents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality childcare services to children in their own homes
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Travel with families on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience working with children
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a non-smoking, scent-free environment. The work setting will be in the employer's home, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an urban area.

Language:

The primary language of communication will be English or French.
