This position is a hybrid one located in either Hamilton or Oakville, Ontario.


What You Will Do

  • Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices and methodologies during client engagements
  • Conduct external and internal financial statement audits for public and private companies
  • Lead field engagement teams, coach, and mentor junior staff members
  • Analyze complex accounting issues
  • Conduct financial and systems analysis
  • Build and maintain client relationships

As a Senior Accountant, you play a crucial role in ensuring transparency in companies' operations, helping them evaluate risks.


What You Bring to the Role

  • Accounting or business degree
  • Completion of the CFE or working towards a CPA designation
  • 3-5 years of post-graduate experience in public accounting
  • Expertise in ASPE reporting standards
  • Strong project management, team collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong client service skills and the ability to understand clients' businesses
  • Commitment to providing high standards of professional service
  • Utilize experience and technical knowledge for client benefit
  • Proficient in analyzing various issues
