Located 2 minutes walking distance from Royal York Subway Station.

Job Duties:

  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, etc.)
  • Replenish food stations regularly
  • Maintain hygiene and ensure cleanliness at all times
  • Stock inventory appropriately.
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, presented well and and on time.

Skills

  • Previous experience working in a restaurant as a chef, preferably breakfast menu
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions clearly and work in a timely manner
  • Ability to manage rush hours without compromising food quality
  • Comfortable working in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Strong professional and punctuality
  • Knowledge of food industry and various cooking methods
