Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard, ensuring that every dish that leaves our kitchen meets our quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Menu Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard, following our recipes and cooking methods.
- Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is handled, stored, and cooked safely, and that high-quality standards are maintained at all times.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Time Management: Manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, and report any equipment issues to the management team.
- Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Certifications: Valid Food Handler's Certification.
