Job Description

Mission

The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to coordinate requests for environmental authorizations, working closely with a diverse team to assist our clients in project execution while complying with environmental regulations and minimizing impacts on the environment. Our projects cover a wide range of areas and are carried out on behalf of both public and private clients.

We provide a flexible hybrid work approach that enables you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. You'll have the freedom to work from a CIMA+ office or from home, based on your preferences.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare necessary documentation such as certificates of coverage and requests for review
  • Coordinate and conduct environmental impact studies and assessments
  • Collaborate with the team to create environmental surveillance programs
  • Develop environmental specifications
  • Provide guidance and support to team members
  • Oversee the application of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices
  • Manage project budgets and timelines
  • Ensure quality control of completed work
  • Participate in business development activities and service offerings

Qualifications
  • Hold a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrate knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in environmental authorizations or impact studies
  • Prior experience in a private consulting firm (strongly preferred)
  • Membership in OIQ, ABQ, or AQEI (an advantage)
  • Fluency in both French and English is essential
  • Availability for occasional travel
