Job Overview:
Food Handlers Certificate preferred, not required to get job however will be required when trained.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meets the restaurant's requirements
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and supplies
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team/ serving staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
  • Assist in creating new dishes or menu items
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Ability to handle cash and work a cash register

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
