Job Description
This exciting opportunity is for a Business Development Manager at Manulife Mortgage Protection Plan (MPP), a leading provider of insurance solutions in Canada through the mortgage broker channel. As a Business Development Manager, your goal is to build and maintain strong relationships within the dynamic Canadian financial industry. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with mortgage brokers, giving presentations, prospecting, staying updated on market trends, and representing Manulife MPP positively.
Key Accountabilities
- Business Development - Utilize your skills and the Manulife MPP brand to drive business in the mortgage broker market
- Operational Efficiency - Manage tasks effectively and efficiently
- Internal and External Relationships - Collaborate internally and externally with transparency and a positive approach
- Strategic Direction - Contribute to strategic planning for the territory and key accounts
We are looking for someone who is naturally:

Job Requirements
- College or University degree in a related field
- Travel required within GTA / Toronto and across the country
- Prior sales experience in financial services, preferably in mortgage or insurance
- Knowledge of the mortgage market and related industries
- Completion of industry-related courses preferred
- Valid Driver's License
