The Role:


This is an opportunity for an experienced programmatic sales specialist who is well versed in the value, efficiencies and workflow/process of programmatic opportunities available today in programmatic.

As a Programmatic Sales Specialist you will be working across our best in class programmatic solutions to help to deliver effective media solutions to our agency, brand and trading desk customers.


Responsibilities:
Be an expert in programmatic, have industry expertise in Ad Tech (Supply, Identity, Ad Servers, etc.) and apply this expertise to help customers realize their business objectivesDrive growth and adoption of Ideon Media's programmatic solutions within agency, brand and trading desk customer segmentsPre-sales (25%): Identify opportunities for growth within our programmatic business practice by engaging customers, understanding their needs, the competitive landscape and how our solutions fit within customer buying and procurement processesSales (50%): Partner with Sales and Service teams to deliver effective and differentiated agency and advertiser-specific solutions, assist in growing share of wallet within key accountsPost-sales (25%): Supporting our customers with best practices in setting up programmatic campaigns and campaign troubleshooting when requiredSales Specialists deploy a combination of both scaled and direct customer supportQualifications/Requirements:3+ years in a programmatic role with an agency/ brand or trading deskHands-on experience within DSPs/ SSPs/Ad servers with buy-side experience is an advantageUnderstanding of the programmatic ecosystem and in-depth knowledge of programmatic marketplaces, real-time bidding, deal optimization and troubleshootingStrong technical and communication skills to convey the right programmatic solutions to clientsExperience managing internal and external relationships to deliver against long term strategic growthDemonstrated ability to close sales and generate revenue, with a focus on delivering long-term customer-driven outcomesUnderstand and manage customer objection handling and suggest alternative solutions as necessary to maximize the partnership opportunityDemonstrated strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of dataExceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skillsExperience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams

Position Details:

This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Greater Toronto Area and requires in-person engagement with customers and partners.
