About You:
- Recognized PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology from a CPAaccredited university program or equivalent
- Registered, or eligible to be registered/licensed with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology
- A minimum of 2 years' experience providing evidencebased interventions for mental health and addictions in adult populations
- Training and experience in the provision of cognitive and behavioural interventions for a range of mental health disorders (e.g., behavioural activation, cognitive therapy for depression, protocolbased treatments for anxiety disorders, prolonged exposure, cognitive processing therapy, exposure and response prevention). Certification in cognitivebehavioural therapy is an asset.
- Formal training and clinical experience in conducting semistructured psychodiagnostic assessment and in case conceptualization
- Experience with the provision of clinical supervision to students from psychology and other mental health disciplines, and willingness to incorporate such responsibilities into work routine
- Selfdirected in practice with an ability to work independently and as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team while dealing with challenging clinical situations and crises
- Working remotely in Nova Scotia using Zoom or other virtual technology with clients throughout Nova Scotia
- Skills and experience in promoting learning cultures that emphasize antiracist and intersectional values, analysis, and actions, clinical humility, and the responsible use of power and privilege.
- Competencies in other languages is an asset, French preferred
Hours:
- Permanent part time (20%) 15 hours biweekly
Compensation and Incentives:
$56.46- $62.73 Hourly
