In addition to reporting, analysis, and general accounting, you will work alongside business leaders to deliver on financial targets, while sharing your passion for numbers and technology.


SkipTheDishes is seeking to hire a Manager, Financial Reporting, reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting to help build out financial reporting capabilities for new business initiatives.

What you'll be doing:

  • Create month end working papers with respect to relevant applicable accounting standards
  • Work closely with the global financial reporting team to align the JET accounting manual with new business initiatives
  • Create compliant processes around revenue, financial instruments, impairment, and ensure they are documented appropriately
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and finance business partners to ensure all reporting needs are captured in new system
  • Work closely with the Tax team to help document business requirements and translate tax requirements into concrete business objectives
  • Review monthend working papers and financial statements prepared by the team
  • Preparation and review of position papers on both new initiatives and existing key transaction streams
  • Participate in the launch of new business initiatives, advising on accounting policy implications of initiatives
  • Coordinate with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to ensure accounting methodologies also meet management reporting requirements

People we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience in auditing or reporting on inventory
  • Thrive in a fastpaced environment
  • CPA Designation
  • Strong financial reporting background with technical knowledge of IFRS
  • Prior experience working in an audit firm
  • Experience preparing financial position papers
  • Ability to identify and improve processes to drive efficiencies
  • Approachable with the ability to communicate crossfunctionally within an evolving organization
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information effectively and professionally
  • Must be able to prioritize work and have the ability to work independently as well as an effective member of the overall Finance team
  • Demonstrated a high level of adaptability and works well under pressure
  • Takes initiative and identifies issues with a solutionsoriented approach, a strong ability to overcome challenges, and highlevel confidence in your decisionmaking ability.
  • Delivers reporting, analysis, and general accounting through collaborating with business leaders across the organization.
  • Strong communicator, able to translate complex financial concepts in terms easily understood.
