JOB OVERVIEW


Under the supervision of the Gift Processing Manager, the Gift Processing Representative is responsible for a variety of data entry activities that contribute to high quality donor service.

This includes ensuring compliance with data integrity standards within Salesforce, Luminate Online and adhering to data entry protocols that ensure donor data is entered consistently and accurately.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Actively contribute to our culture of justice, belonging, equity, diversity, and inclusion by ensuring that all staff feel represented and heard regardless of their gender, age, religion, ethnicity, and nationality or race.
  • Performs data entry into Salesforce and Luminate Online as it relates to a variety of CCS programs.
  • Reviews and complete batches in the database.
  • Creates/updates constituent records in the database.
  • Supports the issuance of accurate tax receipts to donors.
  • Handles confidential information on a regular basis.
  • Works in compliance with the provisions of The Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations.
  • Accurately updates donor contact/donation information utilizing internal CRM system.
  • Supports with calling when needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of secondary school with at least one year of office/administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Rigorous attention to detail.
  • Luminate Online / Salesforce experience an asset.
  • Highly developed customer service, communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows 2000, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English is required (French would be an asset).
  • Demonstrated success working in both a team environment and independently.
  • Proven experience in dealing with high volume of work, tight deadlines and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to deal with change.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of fundraising and the notfor profit sector is an asset.
