Position Summary:
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain and distribute a monthly Airport Operations performance scorecard to reflect key areas of operational focus.
- Prepare and disseminate reports that comprehensively outline results and key drivers.
- Manage and maintain regular service level agreement (SLA) measurement, reporting and participation as required in airline meetings to discuss SLA results contained in commercial agreements
- Build reports that provide detailed and customized analysis to Airport Operations process owners.
- Work with Airport Operations business units to ensure analysis accurately represents performance and provides analytics for the development of new business requests.
- Monitor and analyze critical metric results and help propose corrective actions for areas of concern
- Explain insights, complex problems, solutions, or the essence of a quantitative model to nontechnical people.
- Investigation and reporting of night flight and noise abatement procedures violations, and other noise operating restrictions violations.
- Support the Noise Office by responding to questions posed by the public with regards to aviation operations, including flight altitudes, flight tracks, runway usage and nighttime operations.
- Develop, determine feasibility, and implement noise mitigation strategies to reduce noise exposure on residents.
- Review and understand the airport's traffic forecasts and air carrier planned schedules, review implications of airside infrastructure projects on airfield, airspace, and air traffic operations; review operational and resourcing plans to accommodate projected traffic growth and identify issues of concern.
- Support NAV CANADA's development and delivery of new systems or solutions which would enable them to better service to the air carriers and facilitate the GTAA's forecasted growth in aviation activity.
- Lead development of Performance Monitoring Report for runways, airspace, and noise management related metrics.
- Support the work being done to enhance the resiliency of the Airport's operation during runway restoration projects.
- Work collaboratively with business partners to identify sources of data, establish data collection mechanisms, establish formulas for calculation of critical metrics and measure actual performance against established service level standards.
- Establish a comprehensive program to monitor, collect, manage, and report on performance data for key areas to make informed business decisions.
- Lead Airport Operations representation with GTAA IT and Wipro for continued development, maintenance and automation of the Enterprise Data Management (EDM)/Airport Information Management (AIM) program (including data architecture, data warehousing, business intelligence tools, etc.).
- Lead the team to design reports, dashboards and data visualizations that enable user groups to more optimally harness relevant operational performance reporting in key areas
- Analyze cost/benefit and return on investment analysis to support selected capacity initiatives, products and services.
- Develop methods to ensure continuous process measurement and improvement, implement statistical quality control systems if required
- Identify internal business challenges, technical restraints, and provide practical recommendations.
- Define scope and requirements in user stories, prioritize partner requirements and provide the traceability essential to a successful solution delivery.
- Identify the highvalue/highimpact problems/insights to solve and validate that the team has built a meaningful solution.
- Assess operational changes through a matrix that not only includes innovations and efficiencies gained, but also the environmental (including noise) and social benefits and impacts.
