Manager of Governance and Controls in Credit Operations

In this role, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring operational integrity and driving strategic innovation within Credit Operations:

  • What You Will Do:
    • Risk Management Framework Development: Lead in creating a dynamic risk management framework.
    • Advanced Analytics for Decision Making: Use tools like SQL and Python for data-driven decision-making.
    • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
    • Benchmarking and Compliance: Update benchmarks for performance and compliance.
    • Policy Oversight and Strategic Liaison: Maintain compliance with credit policies and liaise with other departments.
    • Strategic Integration and Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders internally and externally.
    • Operational Efficiency and Performance Monitoring: Oversee KPI tracking and assess operational efficiency.
    • Training and Continuous Improvement: Lead training initiatives and implement improvement opportunities.
    • Ad Hoc Support: Provide expert support for ad hoc projects.

What You Will Bring:

Core Skills:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or related fields.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, Microsoft Office, and data visualization tools.
  • 1-2 years of experience in risk management.
  • Experience in building predictive models and statistical forecast models.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Leadership potential with strong presentation skills.
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Highly motivated and proactive individual.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new challenges.

Desirable Skills (not required):

  • Familiarity with billing platforms.
  • Experience with Experian's MarketSwitch Optimization software.
