Tool Crib Attendant

The Opportunity:

The Role:

Under general supervision, the Tool Crib Attendant will manage and provide tools and other equipment to site operators, as well as oversee the day-to-day stocking and replacement of Tool Crib items.


Accountabilities:

  • Ability to maintain a clean and orderly Tool Crib area
  • Process tool request orders in a timely manner
  • Maintain inventory and filing systems

Requirements and Competencies:

  • Class 5 drivers license required.
  • Preemployment drug & alcohol testing will be required.
  • At least 1 year of Tool Crib experience an asset.
  • Safety tickets such as CSO, BSO, or CSTS
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must work effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • Must communicate effectively and understand instruction and safety procedures.
  • Must be independent and reliable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be physically able to perform all duties.

Schedule:

  • Hours will vary based on callin basis

  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift
  • On call

Experience:

  • Tool Crib or Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • CSO, OSSA, CSTS, or BSO (preferred)
  • WHMIS Certification (preferred)
