Professional Events Manager

Cambridge Forums Inc. has been creating cornerstone meetings for preeminent advisors, executives, and public-sector leaders for over 20 years. We are seeking a Professional Events Manager to join our team of experienced, service-focused professionals.
Our ideal candidate will exhibit a balance of program and relationship management expertise, with several years of involvement in a client facing role. They should demonstrate exceptional relationship management skills, strategic problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication skills, and an overall commitment to delivering excellence in all our offerings. Exposure to the luxury market is highly desirable.

This position will require domestic and international travel, up to 30%. A valid passport with no known travel restrictions is mandatory.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Project manager of successful end-to-end program delivery, including content development, logistical planning, sales and marketing, and flawless execution on-site
- Relationship and logistical management of executive-level Steering Committees
- Professional representation of the brand in all aspects of interaction (in-person, phone/ video, and written) with clients, colleagues, and partners
- Collaboration with multiple internal departments to ensure program success
- Management of program related expenses to ensure budget expectations are met
- Identification and implementation of new opportunities for program development
- Gather and analyze client feedback to continuously improve event quality and client satisfaction
Requirements:
- 5 – 7 years in a project management role with an emphasis on professional events, excellent customer experience and fostering strong client relationships
- Agile and highly organized, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and show resilience in varying scenarios
- High-touch, solutions-oriented ethos
- Confident and articulate in dealing with senior level executives
- Strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a management role is a benefit
- Experience in marketing, business development, events and/or hospitality, particularly in the luxury market, is an asset
- Domestic and international travel
