This role is essential to ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of their business.

Job Summary: The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining effective administrative operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and costing.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards. Including Federal and Provincial government organizations, CNESST (etc...)

Administrative Management:

  • Manage company records, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and stored securely.
  • Handle payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, customers, and service providers.
  • Support the management team with various administrative tasks and projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, financial analysis and cost accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP Business One) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration is a plus.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Résumé du poste : Le contrôleur financier sera chargé de superviser toutes les activités financières, d'assurer l'exactitude des rapports financiers et de maintenir des opérations administratives efficaces. Ce poste requiert un penseur stratégique doté d'excellentes compétences analytiques, d'une solide compréhension des principes comptables et d'une capacité à gérer efficacement des tâches multiples.

Principales responsabilités :

Gestion financière :

  • Superviser toutes les opérations financières, y compris la budgétisation, les prévisions et le calcul des coûts.
  • Préparer les états et rapports financiers mensuels et annuels.
  • Veiller à l'enregistrement précis et opportun de toutes les transactions financières.
  • Gérer les comptes créditeurs et débiteurs, en veillant à ce que les paiements et les recouvrements soient effectués en temps voulu.
  • Effectuer des analyses financières afin d'identifier les tendances, les écarts et les domaines à améliorer.
  • Développer et maintenir des contrôles internes pour protéger les actifs de l'entreprise.
  • Assurer la coordination avec les auditeurs externes et gérer les processus d'audit.
  • Contrôler les flux de trésorerie et gérer les relations bancaires.
  • Veiller au respect de toutes les normes et réglementations financières pertinentes. Notamment
  • Organisations gouvernementales fédérales et provinciales, CNESST (etc...)

Gestion administrative :

  • Gérer les dossiers de l'entreprise, en veillant à ce qu'ils soient exacts, à jour et conservés en toute sécurité.
  • S'occuper du traitement de la paie et de l'administration des avantages sociaux.
  • Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des politiques et des procédures visant à améliorer l'efficacité opérationnelle.
  • Gérer les relations avec les fournisseurs, les clients et les prestataires de services.
  • Soutenir l'équipe de direction dans diverses tâches et projets administratifs.

Compétences et qualifications requises :

  • Licence en comptabilité, finance, administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • La certification CPA ou équivalente est préférable.
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience dans un poste similaire, de préférence dans un environnement industriel.
  • Solide connaissance des principes comptables, des rapports financiers, de l'analyse financière et de la comptabilité analytique.
  • Maîtrise des logiciels de comptabilité (SAP Business One) et de la suite MS Office, en particulier d'Excel.
  • Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et multitâches, avec la capacité de hiérarchiser efficacement les tâches.
  • Solides compétences en matière d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes, avec un grand souci du détail.
  • Excellentes aptitudes à la communication écrite et orale.
  • Capacité à travailler de manière indépendante.
  • Haut niveau d'intégrité et de professionnalisme.
  • Une expérience du traitement des salaires et de l'administration des avantages sociaux est un atout.
  • Connaissance des réglementations fiscales et des exigences de conformité.
