About the role:

Collaborate with local and regional management and associates to manage the Risk Management program implementation in a global environment.

Responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the company's internal control framework across multiple entities. Act in a consultative capacity as it relates to business controls and processes with others in a global environment. Participate in the implementation and execution of risk assessments, trainings and reporting as required.

You are great at:

Managing the day to day operations of the Department, including implementing, managing and communicating various Risk Management programs.

  • Performing annual planning of the internal control program efforts (e.g., process, walkthroughs, risk assessment, materiality, establish due dates, etc.).
  • Coordinating with the Business Process Owners in ensuring that documentation, testing, remediation and the appropriate controls are identified and documented in the process documentation.
  • Managing projects across multiple business units from concept to implementation, including planning, communications, resource management, tracking, analysis, documentation, archiving, monitoring and reporting. Escalating significant deviations and invoking contingency plans when necessary.
  • Collaborating in the design of changes to business projects/processes or ensuring adequate controls are placed appropriately. Identifying opportunities for streamlining and automating control activities within business processes.
  • Conducting various risk assessments (project risk assessments, product risk assessments) and implementing preventive measurements and controls to reduce potential risk exposure, as appropriate.
  • Managing the Risk programs throughout the Region. Preparing consolidated risk reporting for the business unit / region. Ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Preparing management reports on the status of risk efforts.

What it takes:

  • College Diploma/Degree coupled with a minimum of 3 years of Auditing experience
  • Experience performing/auditing SOXrelated controls, or Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) preferred.
  • Risk Management designation (CRM) is preferred.
  • Ability to work with and keep confidential sensitive materials, situations and people.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment or initiative and function with mínimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead people, get results through others and provide coaching/constructive feedback.
