CREW Management is seeking a
Caretaker/Maintenance person with a valid B.C. Drivers' License (company vehicle provided), and a clean driving record.


Reporting to the Property Manager at a Downtown Vancouver location, the Caretaker will perform various tasks across 3-4 single family residential properties on the North Shore, as well as some occasional tasks at 2 commercial properties in Vancouver and Richmond as needed.

Hours of work take place weekdays in the daytime.


Each work day starts and ends at a Downtown Vancouver address, therefore the position is best suited to someone who has relatively quick and easy access to Downtown Vancouver to start the day.


EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

  • Groundskeeping, i.e. landscaping & yard cleaning (**50% of a typical workday would be spent on groundskeeping);
  • Running various errands (i.e. deliveries, moving furniture and / or equipment as examples);
  • General building upkeep (i.e. various maintenance/cleaning tasks such as power washing, window washing as examples);
  • Reporting building and property maintenance issues to the Property Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

For this position, we require someone who:

  • Is comfortable with outdoor landscaping / upkeep work, rain or shine;
  • Has experience providing caretaker support in business, commercial or residential properties;
  • Is attentive, proactive, reliable and efficient;
  • Is a good listener and is good at taking directions;
  • Behaves in a respectful, confidential matter when on site at the properties;
  • Has a friendly personality and good communication skills;
  • Is capable of identifying / reporting issues and finding solutions when necessary;
  • Is able to work independently, without supervision;
  • Is able to communicate fluently in the English language;

-Has a B.C. Drivers' License with a clean driving record (a driver's abstract will be required);

  • Is legally entitled to work in Canada.
