ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a live-in position, offering an excellent rent subsidy within a highly sought-after neighbourhood. The tenants are typically highly educated individuals consisting of professors and doctors. Working with a team of 2 property managers and 5 different support staffs to manage 100+ units across 3 buildings.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Caretaker will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating move-in/move-outs.
  • Maintaining tenant records like rent, vacancy, and holding them accountable to company and property rules.
  • Collecting and reviewing maintenance requests.
  • Unit inspections.
  • Basic maintenance including drywalling, painting, plumbing, and fixtures.
  • Manage cleanliness of amenities and common area.
  • Handle rental inquiries and conduct showings.
  • Enforce Residential Tenancy Act and ensure compliance.

THE REQUIREMENTS


• 3+ years of Residential Caretaking/Building Management.


• Knowledge of Residential Tenancy Act.


• Customer service skills, and the ability to communicate professionally.


• Previous experience of managing at least 100+ units.


• Happy with a live-in position.


• Able to do basic maintenance including drywalling, plumbing, painting, and fixtures.
