Our client in the financial services sector is seeking a fulltime Intermediate Java Developer specialized in creating microservice-based back-end services using Java and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain resilient microservices applications, covering analysis, development, and implementation.
  • Create and deploy API & Microservices technologies leveraging CI/CD and containerization (Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Apply cloud-native design principles and adhere to best practices.
  • Write unit tests using appropriate frameworks for web applications and API services.
  • Proactively identify application weaknesses, suggest solutions, and conduct functional and code reviews in relevant areas.
  • Collaborate with fellow developers, QA, BAs, and more.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Java software development experience.
  • Experience in developing API services with Java Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST, JSON, OAuth2, JWT/JWE/JWS, etc.
  • Familiarity with relational databases like Oracle, MS SQL, with a bonus for No-SQL DB experience.
  • DevOps experience with essential open-source tools (JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Proficiency in microservices, containerized apps, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud technologies.
