About the Role

  • Design and Development: You'll lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions, utilizing your expertise in Java, Spring, and Springboot.
  • Strategic Planning: You'll develop multi-year technology roadmaps that align with the bank's vision, strategy, and business goals, and lead multiple complex projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.
  • Leadership Skills: As a mobile development team lead, you'll run code-review sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet goals, and support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating, and problem-solving.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: You'll have a minimum of 6+ years of experience in Java and Spring development in an enterprise environment, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Skills: You'll possess expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring/Springboot, Web Services (SOAP, JSON, and RESTFul), Hibernate, JPA, batch processing, and Angular JS.
