Job Title: Intermediate Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex backend systems that enable our customers to shop online with ease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient backend systems using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Work closely with our frontend developers, ML engineers, and analytics team to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs that provide a robust and secure interface for our customers to interact with our systems.
  • Collaborate with our team to improve our software, environment, and processes based on industry trends and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and development methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud architecture, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Java 8+, Spring Boot, Junit, Gradle, Go lang.
  • Swagger, Hoverfly, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GCP.
  • GitLab, GitLab CI, Sonarqube.
  • Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of systems and microservices design.
  • Strong understanding of security architecture.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture in GCP or similar cloud architecture such as Azure/AWS.
