Ar-Tech is currently looking for a hard working, safety conscious person to join our team. We are currently hiring for Industrial Coating Supervisor and Applicator

Wages start at $30.00 per hour but are dependent on experience. When working in field, staff travel with company vehicle, hotel is provided and subsistence per day for food provided.

The Industrial Coating Supervisor and Applicator will be responsible for:

  • Plan daily work activities for a crew of Coaters and Painters.
  • Coordinate with Blasting Supervisor to ensure work is completed on time and as per job specification.
  • Paint and coat a variety of surfaces including but not limited to, metal tanks, pressure vessels and pipe both internally and externally.
  • Be able to ensure proper finish of coating and paint. Check WFT and DFT. Be able to inspect for holidays.
  • Operate, maintain and repair paint equipment while adhering to the companies Safe Work Practices and PPE guidelines.
  • Keep the paint facilities clean, safe and organized.
  • Ensure that employees follow the Companies Quality and Safety procedures.
  • Responsible for reporting incidents and followup disciplinary action if required.
  • Work location
  • Taber and surrounding areas including various onsite customer locations
  • Some overtime required.
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the position including but not limited to heavy lifting, working in confined spaces and heights including scaffolding.
  • 1year experience in supervisory role required.
