Our client in the food sector is looking for 2 millwright/mechanic to join their team.
If you are a person who comes with wealth of experience working in the food/chemical sector or have prior experience working with flow systems, pump and valves, we want to hear from you

Location:
Brampton

Role:
Millwright/Mechanic

Shifts :
Day 7am to 3:30pm & Afternoon 3:30pm to 11pm
Monday to Friday
Pay rate $42-45/hour
Benefits and Defined Pension Plan

Advantages

Responsibilities

  • Improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Repair and maintain equipment (processors, homogenizers, pasteurizers, packaging, etc)
  • Lead local management of parts for projects and coordinate contractors' activities as required.
  • Check shipments when they arrive and contact suppliers for any issues or inquiries
  • Must be flexible in terms of shift work and perform other duties as required.
  • Physically capable of performing the demands of the job
Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' maintenance experience within the food industry
  • Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP
  • Strong preventative maintenance and troubleshooting ability.
  • You have excellent analytical, problemsolving, and projectmanagement skills
  • You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • 433A
