Responsibilities

  • Equipment installation and maintenance, ensuring machinery operates at peak performance.
  • Handle installation, relocation, and routine maintenance, preventing breakdowns and optimizing functionality.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical issues is our forte; we diagnose, repair, and replace faulty components swiftly to minimize downtime.
  • Precision alignment is key to accurate operation, and we utilize advanced tools for this task.
  • Welding and fabrication are part of our skill set, enabling us to repair and fabricate metal components as needed.
  • Maintenance and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems are also within our expertise.
  • Safety compliance is paramount, with strict adherence to protocols and participation in regular inspections and training.
  • Interpreting blueprints, utilizing them to assemble and troubleshoot machinery accurately.
  • Predictive maintenance techniques are employed to anticipate and prevent equipment failures.
  • Tool management is another aspect we excel in, ensuring all tools are wellmaintained and calibrated for optimal performance.
Qualifications

  • Valid Ontario (433A) Industrial Mechanic Millwright is preferred
  • 5+ years of handson experience with Strong foundation of fabrication, injection molding in plastics, Chemical processing, machine fixing, PLC troubleshooting, hydraulic/pneumatics, mechanical expertise, electrical basics
  • Previous experience in plastics/chemical processing & manufacturing or steel manufacturing
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, coupled with innovative thinking and independence
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a dynamic, fastpaced setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
