What we offer

The GTA Low-rise division is Mattamy's largest and most established division, with dominant market share in the residential industry. This division is responsible to develop and build master plan communities spanning across the GTA area in multiple municipalities.

The Sales Director is driven sales professional with a proven track record of creating sales strategies that exceed sales targets. This role is responsible for being an expert resource in the residential market, leading and motivating sales teams to achieve results, maintaining/increasing brand awareness and leading customer satisfaction in the Greater Toronto Low R ise market.

What you'll do

  • Play an essential sales leadership role to establish a sense and clear vision to meet sales targets and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the performance and development of the sales teams.
  • Keep current with the market trends and competitors to keep the business informed of potential changes within the real estate/construction industry.
  • Continually review and improve various sales tools, processes, and infrastructure systems-both to enable planned growth as well as to identify deficiencies and potential opportunities.
  • Assist in Mattamy's on-going digital sales transformation, using a growing variety of digital means and methods to interact with customers in a contemporary manner.
  • Works closely with Marketing department to help the development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Coach, mentor and train the sales team on ways to improve their sales performance, improve customer satisfaction and achieve target sales goals and AVID survey results.
  • Ensure the sales process is properly documented and strictly adhered to at all sales offices.
  • Work with Vice President, Sales & Marketing to strategize new release and price strategy suggestions.
  • Work between the various sales offices, Mississauga office and have regular touch points with other residential builders. Some weekend work may be required.

What y ou b ring

  • Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in Business or equivalent
  • 7+ years of relevant sales experience, with experience leading a sales team
  • Demonstrable experience leading, building and developing high performance teams
  • Proven sales strategy success with any commodity/market; residential experience an asset
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
  • Technology savvy with proven experience working with an ERP System to streamline process.
  • Phenomenal communication skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills
