JOB SUMMARY:
The Gas Locate Administrator reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible to ensure accurate field underground utility locating, scheduling, and coordination of underground gas locate verification and utility records.
In addition, this role will provide support for office and field gas personnel through documentation, reports, and scheduling alterations, while also being the point of contact for gas locate communications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and verify utility records
- Schedule and coordinate underground gas locate verification activities
- Field locating in conjunction with drilling and excavating crews for underground utility locations using Metrotech locating equipment
- Utilize established company project management policies, guidelines, technology, and templates.
- Communicate & coordinate with Gas Project Superintendent to facilitate the flow of accurate locate information.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Initiate and manage an efficient work routine in a fast paced environment
Required Qualifications:
- 13 years' work experience in similar role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly use of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and seek clarification where required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Adept at problem solving, multitasking, and team collaboration.
- Experience with Metrotech locating equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Gas Locate online platform.
