The Real Estate Secured and Lending (RESL) and Specialized Sales Forces (SSF) business is part of the Canadian Personal Banking team and our mission is to help Canadians achieve their homeownership financial goals.

Real Estate Secured Lending is a dynamic and complex business and produces one of the largest and most important Profit and Loss statements in the bank.

Our
Co-op/Intern Programming is offered with select Co-op and Internship roles and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network.

This program is designed to complement your on-the job experience and features:

  • Leadership talks with key Leaders from across the organization
  • Lunch and Learns on topics such as Innovation
  • Diversity and Inclusion and Personal Branding and so much more
The Intern/Co-Op will support the RESL Product Team

Key accountabilities:

  • Support existing and new competitor analysis related to value proposition & product features
  • Complete assessment of existing product performance & future potential
  • Contribute to new initiatives designed to grow specific customer segments

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an
    undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
  • Solid knowledge of and ability to conduct product research, product analysis and development, forecasting, pricing, competitive intelligence
  • Skilled in using MS Office, research and analysis methods and reporting techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, communicate effectively (both speaking and writing), provide assistance and build relationships
  • Act as a brand ambassador for our business, the Bank, both internally and externally
  • Excellent business writing and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage and influence collaboration
  • Ability to take initiative and balance multiple tasks. Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, changing environment.
  • Demonstrated strong judgement, decisionmaking and analytical capabilities

Additional Information

  • This position is a 4month work term and will commence May 1st
  • August 25th 202
