Rankin Construction Inc. - Administrative Receptionist
We are a progressive and diversified Heavy Civil Construction company with offices in St. Catharines and Hamilton. With a strong commitment to excellence and safety, we pride ourselves on delivering top-quality projects that exceed client expectations.

We are looking for an energetic and highly organized Administrative Receptionist to work full time in our St. Catharines office. and offer administrative /accounting support to the Office Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
  • Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
  • Assist with coordination and prepare for meetings, conference calls, training and events, including arrangement of logistics, meeting space, communications and catering, providing reminders as needed
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing etc.
  • Support the office manager in accounting and administrative functions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Office Administration is a plus
  • Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Post Secondary Accounting certification or education a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
