Job description

Work experience and other requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience installing spray foam on residential and commercial construction projects
  • Ability to follow directions provided by Foreman
  • Install spray foam according to company, manufacturer and building code protocols
  • Evaluate project conditions and complete takeoffs
  • Prepare worksite
  • Setup and take down scaffolding when necessary
  • Dispose waste material and cleanup
  • Conduct site inspections with clients and building officials
  • Follow and enforce established safety rules, maintain a safe and clean work environment

Education, Skills and knowledge:

  • Valid spray foam licence
  • Caliber or equivalent
  • WHIMIS and working at Heights Training
  • Understand _Ontario's Building Code_ requirements and building performance
  • In depth knowledge of the construction process from material selections, techniques to tools
  • Ablilty to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings is a benefit
  • Take pride in work ownership
  • Detailed oriented
  • Physically able to lift heavy materials/tools
  • Effective communication skills (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Must possess a great attitude be punctual and willing to learn
  • Must have a Valid G Class Ontario driver's license

Salary:
$32.00-$42.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Experience:

- spray foam: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
