On their behalf, we are excited to be recruiting a Manager, Treasury or Senior Manager, Treasury to join their team. Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, this role is a key member of the treasury team and plays a critical role in developing and implementing financial resource and risk management strategy that enables CFFI to pursue investment opportunities and enable day to day operations. The Manager, Treasury or Senior Manager, Treasury is responsible for assisting with cashflow forecasting, planning, and management including receivables and payables management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and enhance the cash flow forecasting process
  • Develop appropriate reporting and modelling capabilities required to support short-term and long-term business needs
  • Oversee cash positioning activities including managing liquidity, cash position reconciliations and bank reporting
  • Prepare annual budgets and lead annual budgeting process for the various divisions of the company
  • Serve as a key contact with lenders, specifically with respect to day-to-day treasury needs
  • Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance with loan agreements in conjunction with the organization's financial reporting team
  • Monitor debt covenant compliance and prepare related calculations and certificates, in accordance with debt agreements
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including management of accounting clerks
  • Review and approve payments (Wire, EFT, cheques, credit cards)
  • Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the organization's billing programs
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly board presentations
  • Special projects within the treasury and accounting functions
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in treasury, working in an accounting firm, or a combination of the two.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skillset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with non-financial personnel
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Sound problem solving, planning, prioritization and execution skills
  • Previous experience with modelling considered an asset
