GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:


Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the IT Support Representative will provide onsite technical support to all users on their company assigned tech devices and related tools.

Including the assigning of and overseeing the inventory of company devices, and maintenance of the company's computer networks and systems, ensuring that they run smoothly.


Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Provide support for diverse technical issues; troubleshoot and support existing hardware and software: desktops/laptops.

Troubleshoot and support hardware peripherals:
network printers, scanners, tablets, etc.

  • Support local and remote user base. Configure and install workstations/laptops and peripherals
  • Document steps to resolution. Act independently to resolve support calls and achieve a high percentage of incident resolution without escalation
  • Advise and educate users on procedural guidelines to ensure a complete solution to their technical or service questions. Provide adhoc training when necessary
  • Experienced in setting up user access and user profiles, backup and recovery, and daytoday computer systems operations. Responsible for seamless onboarding and offboarding of users
  • Experience with middleware and gateways; Experience with distributed and networked systems
  • Awareness of emerging IT trends
  • Networked directory services security and administration including Active Directory LDAP services; Perform scheduled maintenance upgrades. Microsoft Clients and Servers (including security features and administration)
  • Manage and implement systems security with a demonstrated knowledge of firewall rules, file permissions, user groups, account administration, and package management. Configuration and support for virtualization technologies, in particular VMware
  • Maintaining all IT documentation e.g. System maps, training material & logs etc. Maintain concise records and prepare activity/status reports
  • Support ERP and reporting products (Navision, Jet Reports, CRM)
  • Drive cloud migration strategy for Microsoft Azure
  • All other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical and analytical skills required
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English
  • Must be a selfstarter and work independently to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, organized with strong time management
  • Understanding of the term, SQL SERVER and how to edit permissions
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
