Kenvue is currently recruiting for an HR Leader, R&D and Corporate Functions. This position reports into the Head of HR Canada and is based at Markham, ON, Canada.

What will you do
The HR Leader R&D and Corporate Functions is responsible for directly reporting to the Head of HR Canada.

This role will identify talent needs of the corporate functions via analytics, business acumen, and effective analysis and develop/deploy talent strategies in partnership with local leadership to grow and advance effective, diverse talent pools and drive meaningful talent planning to build on global strategies.

The role will partner with global, region, and country HR leaders to shape culture, employee engagement, talent agendas, and change initiatives as appropriate.


The HR Leader R&D and Corporate Functions will collaborate with the functions on global/regional initiatives/goals and proactively identify opportunities to ensure integration of efforts between HR and corporate functions.


Ensuring business intimacy:

  • Create and deploy the HR agenda for the business within Canada, aligned with HR, business, and shared services strategies.
  • Ensure integration of HR priorities into business plans.
  • Evaluate appropriate business, financial, or other drivers across groups to inform HR solutions (e.g., assess effectiveness, identify gaps.)
  • Lead strategic HR work for the sector in Canada in support of business goals, enterprise goals, and sector HR strategies.
  • Develop trusted partnership/coaching relationship with leaders/teams that enhances their impact.
  • Lead country specific strategic initiatives such as onboarding, DE&I plans, etc.

Driving talent agenda and building organizational capability:

  • Identify talent needs of the business via analytics, business acumen, and effective analysis.
  • Develop/deploy talent strategies in partnership with local leadership to grow and advance effective, diverse talent pools and drive meaningful talent planning; build on global and regionsector strategies to implement within country/cluster.
  • Support business leaders to drive talent agenda and achieve business results.
  • Partner with local and regional HR leaders to shape culture, employee engagement, talent agendas, and change initiatives as appropriate.

Promoting collaboration:

  • Partner across all parts of the HR model, to ensure integrated solutions and seamless experiences for both HR and the business.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to partner cross region to ensure integration of efforts.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of bachelor degree required, preferably with a degree in human resources management, business or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years professional experience required.
  • Must be an enthusiastic teammate with a proven commitment to build a positive work environment required.
  • Experience managing, planning and implementing projects and business support initiatives is required.
  • Must have relationship management, coaching and collaboration skills required.
  • Influence, shaping solutions, negotiation and partnership skills are required.
  • Experience using data to influence senior business leaders required.
  • Must embody strong interpersonal, consultative and facilitation skills required.
  • Ability to understand and integrate internal and external business drivers and financial metrics to drive talent outcomes for the business is required.
  • Experience with innovative change efforts, including developing and implementing detailed change management plans is required.
  • Strong MS office and related talent management technology tools skills are required.
  • Experience of driving strategic change to meet changing business needs, and exploring new business models is required.
  • This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.
Desired Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of HR or HR related experience preferred.

  • Experience supporting multiple business functions and working in various industries, preferably within large, complex organizations is preferred.
