What is the opportunity?
This special role requires your expertise in providing customer-focused advice and innate problem-solving abilities to enhance each interaction with clients by assisting them with their daily banking, credit, and investment needs. As a representative of RBC, you bring value to significant client moments and work with other RBC partners to help clients reach their objectives. Whether you're educating a client on digital banking, welcoming a new client, or referring a complex opportunity to a specialist, your knowledge will contribute to creating meaningful client experiences, fostering satisfaction, and building loyalty.
What will you do?
- Engage proactively with clients in various areas of the branch and community, identifying banking needs, offering guidance, and spotting sales and referral chances
- Emphasize client education and engagement, utilizing technology for a memorable client experience, boosting sales, and retaining business
- Respond to client inquiries, aiding them with a range of financial transactions
- Listen actively and converse with clients to better understand their needs
- Take charge of resolving and preventing client banking issues
- Cultivate and uphold partnerships to maximize business opportunities and referrals
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Mutual Funds accreditation, or readiness to acquire it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
- Goal-oriented individual with a proven dedication to prioritizing clients
- Problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the capability to form strong relationships and proactively engage with clients
- Adaptability, eagerness to learn, strong ethics, and drive for success
- Digital literacy across various devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
Nice-to-have
- Track record of building rapport and sustaining client relationships within the financial or service industry
