We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and self-starter to join our Accounting team

If you are comfortable with large amounts of data and just love it when things add up, this role might be the right fit for you Listed below are the core competencies and requirements:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Preparing and posting journal entries
  • Enter vendor invoices and credit card receipts for multiple companies
  • Ensure invoices and payments are correctly allocated
  • Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
  • Assisting other departments with generating purchase orders
  • Assisting with month end financial working papers
  • Performs various administrative and clerical tasks as per the needs of the unit as well as special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned and as may be amended from time to time to meet company objectives

Requirements:

  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Excellent attendance is a must and consistently arrives to work on time

Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of a 2 years + Accounting Course or Diploma

  • 2+ years relevant experience is a
    MUST, preferably in the automotive sector
  • Experience with CDK and Reynolds would be considered an asset
  • Certificate of Conduct required

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$20.00-$23.00 per hour
