What Will You Work On?

  • Loads and unloads materials
  • Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move the load to destination
  • Lifts heavy objects by hand or with a power hoist and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators
  • Shovels loose materials such as sand, gravel, metals, plastics, or chemicals, into machine hoppers or vehicles and containers such as wheelbarrows, scrap trucks, or barrels
  • Install vapour barriers and/or layers of insulation
  • Work at heights while following safety protocols
  • Assist Journeymen with installation on various projects

  • Experience in a construction environment is considered an asset
  • Ability to work and communicate with others
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to learn and obey our extensive company safety policy
