We are looking for a
Corporate Travel Manager. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the success of CRC's corporate travel program.

They oversee and administer corporate travel processes, ensuring compliance with the existing processes and policies managing contracts with vendors and partners, tracking business traveler needs, and identifying cost savings.

Working in conjunction with a travel management company (TMC), the Corporate Travel Manager ensures that the program and policies meet the needs of the CRC and users.


The incumbent will actively participate in the development of the annual planning objectives and management of the team They will be responsible for coordinating the achievement of annual objectives and managing the implementation of all improvement projects or the integration of new initiatives aimed at developing the CRC travel program.


The incumbent will excel at working in a matrix environment and establishing strong relationships across multiple geographies and departments, as well as with the CRC traveler program partners.

Their attention to detail and process-driven approach will be applied in the dynamic and emergency management context. They will demonstrate an excellent ability to train and coach their peers and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

In this role, you will:

Responsibility - Travel program management

  • Participates in the development and implementation of the corporate travel program business model.
  • Negotiates contracts or rates with travel management company (TMC) other corporate travel program partners.
  • Liaises with provinces/geographies and other CRC national business units.
  • Ensures the travel management program (TMP) is optimal through savings, reporting, due diligence, change and expense management.

Responsibility 2 -Travel policies and procedures

  • Contribute to the development of strategic objectives for the travel management program.
  • Ensures the update of the travel policy as needed based on market research and travel regulations.
  • Ensures compliance and security in all aspects of travel procedures.
  • Process travel and expense (T&E) reports, and track and reconcile travel expense.

Responsibility - Travel experience technology and systems

  • Leads the selection process of new systems, software and equipment.
  • Ensures that the technology and systems used are transparent and easy to use when it comes to business travel as well as meeting the needs of the CRC and users.
  • Ensures that the travelers support and channels available to them, whether digital or humanassisted, are consistent, efficient and customeroriented.

Responsibility - Traveller safety and risk management

  • Implements and manage a user advisory service on CRC travel documents and policies.
  • Ensures that the organization is working with business travel toolkits and technology that allow them to anticipate problems or contact and locate travelers in an emergency.
  • Leads the development, implementation and maintenance of the business continuity plan for the Society's travel program.

Responsibility - People management

  • Manages, train and coach the Corporate Travel Advisor(s).
  • Provides leadership in the development of work plans and career development plans for assigned staff.
  • Lead performance evaluations for the Travel Management Program Advisor.
  • Additional responsibilities.
  • Coordinates the development and management of other travel management program/or system projects.
  • Acts as oncall duty officer for the corporate travel program. This involves responding to emergency calls outside of normal business days and hours on a bimonthly basis (1 week out
