Job Details

  • You will be a part of the finance team in the Real Estate Asset Management Group responsible for the following activities:
  • Maintaining the asset management accounting records
  • Monthly property results upload and review data from third party managers
  • Yardi reporting platform competency
  • Monthly/quarterly/annual financial, leasing and other reports for quarterly reporting
  • Audit and financial statement preparation
  • Tax return review
  • Prepare journal entries, wire transfers and cash payments for the managed entities as required
  • File monthly GST/HST/PST returns and bank reconciliations

Job Requirements
years of experience in accounting, finance, report writing

  • CPA
  • Postsecondary degree
  • Strong computer skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft excel. Exposure to an accounting software and report writing. Microsoft Great Plains is the platform that we use.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical and multitasking skills
  • Organized, detail
- and results-oriented, and meticulous in their work

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment under tight deadlines
