About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Planning and Development, the Consultant, Strategic Projects and Initiatives is a provincially focused role. Responsibilities involve working with the team to advance strategic priorities. The Consultant leads the coordination of planning, design, and implementation of initiatives.

The role includes facilitating, coordinating, communicating, and planning. The Consultant follows the mission, vision, values, and policies of NS Health to support programs, services, and initiatives province-wide. The work demands professionalism, best practices, and evidence-based decision-making.

About You

Join us if you have:

  • Baccalaureate degree in a health discipline or health science field
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Services Administration preferred
  • Experience in leadership in a healthcare setting
  • Certification or training in Quality Improvement, Design Thinking, Project Management, or Change Management an advantage
  • Experience in program planning, delivery, and evaluation
  • Experience in managing unionized staff
  • Effective communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Competency in other languages, French proficiency preferred

Hours
  • Permanent Full-time Position; 75 hours bi-weekly
Compensation and Incentives

$47.01 Hourly
