Compensation Information:
$16.75 per hour
Physical Requirements:
Light, work activities involve handling loads of 5 kg but less than 10 kg; Predominately in an indoor setting.
This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.
Accountabilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly manner and present them with a menu
- Check patron's identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
- Inform guests about the daily specials and any changes in the menu
- Be knowledgeable of the menu, ingredients of the food items, and how they are prepared
- Take and relay orders into the POS in an efficient manner
- Serve food and beverages to guests as per the course of an order
- Maintain proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling guests' needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling water bottles
- Check with guess to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
- Accurately and reliably perform closing duties and reconcile cash with total sales
- Be a continuous ambassador for Sun Peaks Resort and all activities and events throughout the summer season
- Professional, fun, and friendly personality, with the ability to build enthusiasm with guests under pressure and in routine situations
- Neat, tidy, and well organized with the ability to multitask
- Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer's expectations
- Experience and a good understanding of a POS system
- Capability to multitask and prioritize jobs
- Wellpresented and a team player
- Must have serving it right
