A career as a Senior Compliance Advisor in the Wealth Management Compliance team at Banque Nationale means acting as a responsible party to establish and maintain an adequate monitoring framework for wealth management. This role allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your knowledge of wealth management and investment products. You'll be able to showcase your skills to play a key role in protecting investors, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders in the sector.

Your role

Detect risk situations and produce diverse analyses. Act as a resource person regarding portfolio manager surveillance. Ensure the maintenance of an appropriate monitoring program while contributing to evolving our practices to cover current and future risks. Safeguard investors, portfolio managers, and registered personnel in the risk management sector. Develop, implement, document, monitor, and control policies, standards, and procedures related to surveillance, making recommendations to automate current processes and enhance efficiency. Participate in committees or special projects that require a high level of expertise and represent the bank to various organizations, bodies, or stakeholders.

Prerequisites

University degree and 3 to 4 years of experience in the securities sector with a good knowledge of products. Successful completion of relevant courses, including Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH), and Investment Dealer Supervisors Course (IDSC) Holding a designation such as CIM (ICVM) or CFA Level 1 is an asset. Effective verbal and written communication skills to provide advice to internal partners. Willingness to offer prompt and efficient service Languages:
Language: FrenchLanguage: English Reason to require this language: you will need to serve clients who speak a language other than French regularly.
