We are seeking a friendly, responsible, detail oriented, punctual, professional and caring Dental Receptionist with exceptional patient service skills to join our family oriented and small team.


Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and diagnosis
  • Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
  • Working knowledge of dental insurance
  • Working knowledge of Opus (beneficial but not required)

Minimum of 3 years of Dental Receptionist experience

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Register new patients according to established office protocols
  • Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol
  • Fill in cancellations and noshows
  • Answer and manage calls
  • Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
  • Liaise with dental insurance companies
  • Collect payments from patients at time of treatment
  • Inform patients of financial treatment plan options
  • Maintain a professional reception area
