About the Opportunity
  • Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and service delivery in accordance with established departmental standards. Ensure meals are visually appealing, served at the right temperature and portion size, and provided with warm, attentive, and prompt service;
  • Offer meal service to residents and guests following established standards and guidelines, while respecting individual preferences, special diets, and departmental procedures;
  • Ensure the dining area meets set standards, including neatly arranged table linens, appropriate place settings, and orderly wait stations;
  • Handle table clearing, operate the dishwasher safely, and conduct manual ware washing when necessary;
  • Contribute to a cooperative team environment within the Food and Beverage department, working towards shared goals and priorities. Gather feedback from residents and guests for meal and menu enhancements;
  • Report any noted changes in residents' nutritional status to the supervisor;
  • Promote a culture of safety by adhering to safe work practices, identifying and reporting hazards, wearing required protective gear, and encouraging a safe work environment among colleagues;
  • Execute other assigned duties as needed.
About YouIn addition to valuing continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, you possess:
  • A high-school diploma or GED
  • At least one year of food service experience
  • A clear criminal record check
  • A passion for healthcare and ensuring seniors have access to top-notch accommodations and care
