Landscape Field Worker

About the role:
Landscape Field Worker's duties include, but are not limited to, mowing, string trimming, mulching, landscaping, weeding, pruning, litter pick-up, and other landscape maintenance and construction tasks.
What you will do:
- Assisting with lawn care and landscape work on both residential and commercial jobsites.
- Raking, shoveling, spreading material, mowing, trimming, planting, weeding, mulching, sweeping, etc.
- Using power tools for lawn care maintenance tasks such as quick cut saws, chain saws, plate tampers, power wheelbarrows, skills saws, sod cutter, sprayer or duster, rototiller, drills, etc.
- Loading and unloading tools and materials from trucks and trailers.
- Completing daily paperwork and maintaining accurate records of activities.
- Helping to secure tools, equipment, and materials before transport.
- Helping to improve efficiencies of the daily tasks.
What you will bring:
- Ability to work with power/hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials.
- Physically fit with good stamina.
- Ability to follow safe working procedures.
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.
- Speak, read, and write English.
- Flexibility in working hours including occasional weekend work due to weather and job schedules.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
- Personal smartphone with data plan for daily attendance marking, communication, and reporting.
Work Conditions:
- Various locations including both residential and commercial landscape construction sites.
- Working near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.
- Working outdoors in various conditions including cold, heat and humidity, rain, dust, and noise.
- Working flexible hours including occasional weekend work, stat holidays, and outoftown work where required.
