Job Description:

  • We have an exciting opportunity for a multiskilled light equipment operator for an upcoming shutdown in Fox Creek, AB. If you are a skilled Equipment Operators with Zoom Boom and skid steer tickets, we're looking for you
**_
This shutdown is expected to start on September 5th and run until October 1, 2023. Camp is available, and bussing is provided between the camp and the job site._**
What would you be doing?

  • Perform preoperational routine inspections of equipment.
  • Safe and efficient operation of equipment.
  • Identifying safety risks and hazards on site.
  • Communicate/review hand signals with spotter.
  • Perform General Laborer duties on occasion.
    Does this sound like you?
  • Valid zoom boom and skid steer tickets are required.
  • Valid WHMIS 2015, H2S Alive, First Aid, Confined Space, and Fall Protection tickets are required.
  • Have a great attitude and a good safety record.
  • Able to handle and move heavy objects up to 50lbs.
  • Can troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and find solutions.
  • Can work autonomously and follow directions.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
