Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Heavy Equipment Operations
    • Oversee the daily operations of heavy equipment, including excavation, grading, and equipment maintenance
    • Coordinate with project managers and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects
    • Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Lead and Manage Teams
    • Supervise and train heavy equipment operators and laborers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and efficiently
    • Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
  • Manage Equipment and Resources
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment to ensure it is in good working condition

    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize equipment utilization and reduce costs
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. construction management, engineering)
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment operations and supervision
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of safe and efficient heavy equipment operations
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Knowledge of construction regulations and safety protocols
