Marnevic Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of heavy equipment operators to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Estimate costs and materials for equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Prepare bids and proposals for equipment-related projects.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities with other project supervisors or managers.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Recommend personnel actions and supervise workers and projects.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation and supervision.
  • Leadership for safety excellence course and CPR Certificate.
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Own tools and equipment, including hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, and steel-toed safety boots.
