Afternoons (Monday to Thursday, 4:00 p.m.

2:30 a.m.
Shift Premium $4.00/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Application of epoxy/urethane primer and topcoat with airless
  • Conventional spray pot experience with metallic and urethane paint
  • Knowledge of basic preparation of blasted steel to execute specific surface prep requirements
  • Trouble Shoot and Maintain Pumps (Airless, Plural Component XM, Reactors, etc.) as well as HVLP guns and pressure pots.
  • Read and understand work orders
  • Ensure and document that all coating is completed accurately and meets customer specs
  • 100% participation in all aspects of workplace safety including toolbox talks and proper use of workplace PPE
  • Actively adhere to company safety procedures and policies
  • Perform other duties as required, including effective general cleanup and the accurate and timely completion of paperwork
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge and experience of media blasting is an asset

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience Industrial Painting or Manufacturing
  • Attention to detail
  • Selfmotivated and ability to keep yourself busy
Working Conditions

  • 95% working indoors in a temperature controlled well maintained facility.
Physical Requirements

  • Physically fit with maximum 50 lbs (overhead crane use over 50 lbs (fitness test required)
  • Standing on your feet for a long period of time.
  • Sitting, bending, crouching.
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
Shift Availability

  • We are looking for someone who is flexible to work either shift as the work dictates and weekends.
  • Afternoons (Monday to Thursday, 4:00 p.m.
2:30 a.m.)
- (Availability during the day to train for the first 1-2 weeks)

  • Overtime available, ability to work longer hours when needed
